|FORUM Institute of Multicultural Development
FORUM, the Institute of Multicultural Development, is a national centre of expertise in the field of multicultural development. FORUM stands for a society in which people from various communities live together as fully recognised citizens. In order to help realise this objective, FORUM receives subsidies from the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. It has a professional staff of over 100, of which about 50% are from minority groups. FORUM attaches top priority to the effective integration of minorities, and the elimination of the prejudices that hinder full acceptance of minority members. FORUM is active in various fields, including upbringing, communication, legislation, housing, employment, education, health care, leisure time, sport, political participation, art and culture.
FORUM is a social partner with particular experience of working with refugees and migrants.
